ABOUT US

Welcome to Geaux Rescue! This is a brain child George Ruiz has had since he assisted in Texas and Florida with hurricane relief in 2017! Our goal is to have a team built of people from across the country to assist not only with hurricanes but all natural disasters, lost and missing people on land and in the water. We are a small group of big hearted people doing our best to assist in any way possible. We are looking for others that have the same willingness to assist their fellow human beings in times of need.

Geaux Rescue came together in the spring of 2018. So far we have conducted several searches for missing loved ones on water and on land. We have assisted with these searches in Alabama, Florida and Texas. Our first major mission was Hurricane Florence. We had boots on the ground in North Carolina with dispatchers located in Texas, Mississippi, Florida, Illinois and Georgia. Within weeks of Hurricane Florence, we had boots on the ground in Florida to assist with Hurricane Michael. Our core members are the heart and soul of Geaux Rescue and we are looking forward to assisting anywhere possible as well as growing into the premier volunteer rescue group.
