Help Us Help Others

getting supplies ready

Geaux Rescue desires to be 100% transparent with our donations.
Currently a majority of the expenses are covered by the Board of Directors and gracious donations. During times of natural disasters, 100% of your donations will go towards the efforts involved. Expenses can be, but not limited to fuel, gear, food and lodging if needed. If we assist with a donation center, we may help purchase items to get the donation center started. During missing persons searches, 100% of the donations will go towards the efforts. Donations collected during our limbo time, will be used to purchase much needed equipment and to cover the cost of training. While conducting operations, we will post on our social media pages the amount of donations and the expenditures every day. When we are in downtime, we will post our account information on the first of each month.

Become a Sponsor

We are looking for sponsors to assist with equipment, food for rescuers and lodging.

  • Equipment Sponsors - We are looking to purchase 16+’ flat bottom boats to conduct flood rescues, searches for drowning victims and any operations that require these types of boats. We are also looking for various types of other equipment. As an equipment sponsor your company name will be visible on our website and the piece of equipment your company assisted to purchase.
  • Restaurant, grocery stores or food distributors - One of our major expenses next to fuel is food. We are looking for chain restaurants to sponsor our rescuers for either free or discount meals while conducting searches. We are also looking for grocery stores or food distributors to donate raw food so we can cook for our volunteers and other first responders.
  • Monthly donors - We are currently working on a recognition system for our monthly donors. Monthly donors are very important to maintain equipment, purchase replacement supplies and to fund training.
  • Corporate sponsorship – We are looking for companies to donate their products (i.e. First aid supplies, protective gear, drinks etc.).

We are working on obtaining our non-profit certification and should have that soon!
